It’s better to have a brief idea to whom you are talking rather than communicating with a total strange customer. It saves both your and customer’s time in introducing and inquiring general details.
Therefore, Pre-Chat Forms come in very handy to get a glimpse of your customer details.
To utilize this option,
- Click on Settings tab.
- Go to the Chat Window.
- Click on Pre-Chat Form.
- Disable it if you don’t need it.
- If enabled, select which all fields you require your customer to fill up.
- Save the changes.
Note: The details of your customers are automatically stored in the database. Whenever an agent is communicating with the customer, his/her details will appear on his screen.
